María del Carmen González

July 12, 1943 — June 1, 2020

From your Family and Loved ones:

María del Carmen González the daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who brought so many happy moments in our lives and left us with endless beautiful memories.

Throughout her life, she became an amazing person, giving happiness to all the family members around her. She had too many goals that she fought for to succeed; so many difficult situations that she defeated, and the most important, is that she did all this for her family, since this was the most valuable treasure for her.

Many years ago, she left Mexico to pursue the American dream, which was a difficult decision since she had to leave her family and during that time, she took refuge in God to find the strength to continue until the day she reunited with her husband, sons, daughters and grandchildren.

She overcame illnesses and recovered from several surgeries, which helped her continue her life, even with this she always gave her best, with her joy and enthusiasm that spread to everyone who was close to her.

With all her grandchildren, she was always a loving and protective grandmother, regardless she gave everything for them taking care of them, loving them and teaching them good values.

One of her greatest achievements was obtaining her American residence so that she could return to the country where she was born and see all her loved ones again, sometime later she managed to fulfill her dream of becoming an American citizen.

Her greatest pride was to see her family together and happy, the most comfortable thing for her was seeing everyone together.

She was a great cooker, had great passion when cooking, she said that she cooked with love, so her dishes were delicious, because her best ingredient was all the love she put in cooking for her family.

She was always very happy, she loved singing, especially she loved singing to all of us when we were kids, and it was joyful to see her hug her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sing to them. She was a loving and pampered grandmother and great-grandmother and above all a great woman.

Now that she has left us with an enormous emptiness in our soul and our hearts, we assure that she will always live in the hearts of those whom love her, and although we will miss her at all times, always she there with us with her legacy and teachings.

With all the love!
