Age 71, late of the East Side and formerly of Hyde Park, at rest Monday, August 24, 2015. Beloved husband of Patricia Simmons - Esparza. Loving father of Tracy, Emiliano, Irene, Manuel F. and Olivia. Dear step-father of Whitney. Loving grandfather and proud great grandfather of many. Preceded in death by sibling: Frank-Moon Esparza and Concepcion Rubio. Manuel proudly and honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a member of South East Side Vietnam Vets, Military of the Purple Hearts, DAV Chapter 17, American Legion Post #1238, Military Trench Rats and Parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church since 1993.
