Lucina "Nina" Sherman (nee Sanchez)

Age 72, late of East Side, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021. Loving mother of Michael Sherman. Caring grandmother of Martin Sherman and Joaquin Sherman. Kind sister of Rosalie Motley, Anita Sanchez, Nicholas Sanchez, Robert Sanchez, Rita (John) Hercog and Richard (Barbara) Sanchez. Dear aunt of Juan, Phillip, Marie, Rosalinda, Lisa, Nicholas, Robert and Alex. Preceded in death by parents: Nicholas and Mary Sanchez.

Lucina graduated from Nativity of Our Lord Grade School, St. Mary of Perpetual Help High School and DeVry Technical Institute. She was a Lay Franciscan and a member of the Red Hat Society. Lucina loved knitting prayer shawls and hats for cancer survivors.
