Josefa Adorno (Salinas), a remarkable woman of strength and love, has bid her final farewell to this world. Her passing occurred on October 30, 2023, at the age of 87. Josefa was an extraordinary mother to Angelo (Patricia) Adorno, the late David Adorno, Dolores (Miguel) Miranda, and Lucio (Rebecca) Adorno Jr. Her unwavering love for her children knew no bounds as she poured her heart into their upbringing and nurtured them with kindness and wisdom. Her presence enriched their lives in immeasurable ways.

Josefa took pride in being a grandmother and found immeasurable joy in witnessing the growth and happiness of her grandchildren. Laura (Gabriel) Martinez, Leticia (Jose Candelario) Espinoza, Miguel (Cecilia) Miranda Jr., Pedro (Leslie) Miranda, Veronica Adorno, Alexandra Adorno, Lucio (Gabriella) X. Adorno, Manuel Adorno, and Andrew Adorno were lights in her life that brought endless delight to her soul. Their shared moments were filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories that will forever live on. 

Josefa's family extended beyond her immediate kin. She was a cherished sister to Pete, Frank, Mary, Augustina, and the late Dolores. Through both life's triumphs and tribulations, their bond remained unbreakable. In turn, Josefa played a significant role as a nurturing aunt to numerous nieces and nephews who were fortunate recipients of her wisdom and affection.

Born to parents Pablo and Victoria Salinas, Josefa was shaped by the values instilled in her by her family. Though they have preceded her in death, their memory is enshrined in her heart forever.

May we remember Josefa Adorno as a pillar of strength, an embodiment of love, and as someone who taught us the true meaning of resilience. Let us celebrate her remarkable life with gratitude for having had the privilege of knowing such an extraordinary soul.
